I Care Because…

  • I was bullied once, and it hurt. I almost died because of it. I finally told an adult and it got too out of hand. I created a Bully Prevention Club in my school

    Hailey —
  • I care because it gives students low self esteem which is a horrible feeling. I don’t want anyone to feel bad, or even harm themselves as it effects so many others

    Willow — 14
  • I've been being bullied since third grade. I'm in 6th now. Each year has been worse but different.

    Alixander — 13
  • I care because no one deserves to be bullied ever and bullying can lead to way worse situations such as self-harm or becoming a bully too. They may be harmed or hurt at home too. Spread The Word!

    Taylor — 12
  • I care because bullying can affect people. Those who are bullied can have negative outcomes. It is important that we know how to not bully, or never to start it.

    Colten — 12
  • I care because many children each year are getting seriously hurt because of bullying. Nobody deserves to get their lives cut short because of others' actions.

    Ethan — 12
  • I care because we need to realize that everyone has emotions and feelings. Although we are all different, we share common ground. Being respectful to each other is critical and is the key to having healthy friendships and relationships.

    Victoria —
  • Bullying is never the right thing to do because if you do you could hurt people mentally or physically. You should never hurt people in this way and if you are you really need to stop and think about how it impacts the other person . In this world you only have one life and you should live to the fullest and Bullying is never the right path.

    Joe — 14
  • I care because bullying is one of the many most awful things that a kid or kids could do. Its not okay or funny to tease or hurt other people just for being how they are. that is why one of the most important morals in life is "treat others the way you want to be treated."

    Em —
  • I care because bullying is wrong. Even the people who bully know it's wrong. People do it to assert dominance, to appear superior. But, there are other ways to show these things, act against bullying. If you ever see it occurring at school or your community. do something. If it's someone you know or someone you are close to, ask them to stop. If that doesn't work, tell an adult.

And if you feel afraid to report bullying, remember,
You are doing the right thing.
