Student Action Plan Against Bullying

Ready to take action to address bullying? Maybe not sure how to start? As a student, bullying is something that impacts you, your peers, and your school – whether you’re the target of bullying, a witness, or the person who bullies. Bullying can end, but that won’t happen unless students, parents, and educators work together and take action.

Tell Us Why You Care

  • I care because I was bullied from 5th grade to 7th grade. I was verbally harassed by peers of mine to the extent of one night sitting on my bed thinking about hurting myself. I still get those feelings but they are controlled now. I remember the feeling of hopelessness and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. That's why I care.

  • i care because most people get bullied online or at school or maybe both but just because you see other people bullying people at school or online doesn't mean that it's ok for you to start doing it as well so please stop bullying, it's not right. most people have a bad home life or the bullies do but just because you are either having a bad time at home or just a bad day at all doesn't mean that it's ok to take your anger out on other people. solve your problems or get help from someone to help solve them with you and get you through it because hurting people is never the answer. so stop bullying and make friends and have a good life. have a good rest of your day bye
    Sincerely: Ariel P Oliver 10/1/20

  • I care because bullying can cause people to take their lives.

    Derrick — 11
  • I care about stopping bullying because I do not want to see victims now or people that may experience bullying in the future get bullied. Since I myself do not want to experience it, I will strive harder so that others would not experience it too.

    Rio — 15
  • We all don't realize what others are going through, and helping others could make their days better.

    Noah — 17
  • Some people get bullied so much just because something happens to the kid that is doing the bullying

I was bullied in elementary school

When I was in 4th grade I liked this one boy but there were 2 people who would always bully me because of it. They would laugh at me for it. They would go out of their way to make me feel miserable. I finally stood up to them one day and then I reported them to the principal.
